Pruett Vineyards Syrah Taylor's Reserve

Tasted 29 October 2015 Sierra Foothills · Placer County

PnP with reserved notes of dark berry, black currant, plum, chocolate, anise, and faint vanilla. After about two hours in the decanter, some nice mocha and licorice notes emerged.

26 May 2017 Same as my notes 2 months ago. A decent, yet somewhat forgettable Syrah. Not as much verve or depth as I would have preferred.
