Sonoma County · Dry Creek Valley
Oddly sweet and wonky tasting. Not completely undrinkable I suppose, but a weird rendition of a PS. No real distinguishing PS characteristics identifying it as the varietal. Some strange funk, oak, and earth notes.
What I consider a "typical" low-mid range, mass produced California Chardonnay. Round, butter, vanilla, wood, and ripe yellow citrus flavors. One-note and simple, with no surprises up its sleeve.
