Salinia Chardonnay Heintz Ranch

Similar to some of my CT notes from the 2006 & 2007 Salinia Heintz Chardonnays, however the 2008 started out a bit tight and reserved, with less of the alluring oily, viscous texture found in its older siblings.

28 September 2018 Starting to tank pretty fast at this juncture, even for those passing this off as a Jura "style" white. Drink yesterday. 12 December 2017 All previous notes apply. More Sherry than Chardonnay. Super arid and woody at this stage, with a drying, anti-unctuous effect inside the mouth. Like a Sherry and a still Champagne had an eczema baby.
