Similar to some of my CT notes from the 2006 & 2007 Salinia Heintz Chardonnays, however the 2008 started out a bit tight and reserved, with less of the alluring oily, viscous texture found in its older siblings.
More Sherry than Chardonnay. Super arid and woody at this stage, with a drying, anti-unctuous effect inside the mouth. Like a Sherry and a still Champagne had an eczema baby.
